It does sound like asthma because people with asthma have alot of alergies.

I’m worried about the fever part. My mom has allergies and asthma and fevers have never been par for the course. With the fever, it’s like he’s fighting off something – an infection or otherwise. I really hope that the antibiotics take care of the infection part. It’s a big wow that the infection went to both ears and both eyes, though. Along with the congestion… ouch. Though I suppose hayfever is a possible reason for all of this. And that’s a lot of medicine for a little guy. Even for possible allergies.

The asthma may already have been there without the allergies triggering it. The allergies could just be bringing it to the forefront.

Is your doctor a family doctor or a pediatrician? If the doc isn’t someone who specializes in infant/early childhood issues, then I’d see about getting a referral to a specialist. Especially since this problem is giving even your doctor some trouble. And if it turns out that he isn’t better, you may very well be on your way to a specialist anyway, so the sooner the better.

Fortunately, I’ve not personally experienced this myself, though I have had friends/family members who have or know someone who had gone through something similar to this. If I remember right, it did turn out to be asthma/bronchitis (or along those lines), though I still do not remember anything about a fever being involved.

Personally I would see another doctor. An i 11 month old should not be taking all throughs different meds. Maybe an ear, eye, throat doctor.
