My friend’s dog has asthma. He’s a little Pomeranian and we scare him sometimes on accident, and he starts wheezing and falling over. I know they took him to the vet the first time for it, and they gave some medicine that he takes. Not sure of the exact medicine, but if you’re worried just go to the vet and they’ll take care of the poor dog.
I don’t know if dogs can have asthma, but I do know they can have allergies that cause them to wheeze, sneeze, and breathe heavily. Also some breeds like French Bulldogs have genetic airway problems.
Yes dogs can have asthma it is usually allergy related. You can do some searches for more info and descriptions of symptoms to see if it leads you in the right direction.

Yes, some dog do have asthma or breathing problems and just like human being. Until 2day there’s no main treatments but just temporalily treatment for asthma problems. As a pet lover, what I’ll do when my dogs have asthma is just that I’ll pet it from the neck down to the body for a few minutes and also show our love to him/her..
