I lost 164lbs and my asthema is worse. also my overall body pain is worse. I thought getting all that weight off would help the pain. I think thats crazy.
In all honesty im asthmatic and when i lost weight due to being sick i actually felt an improvment in my condition i guess it varys on how seriouse your asthma is.
I used to have asthma in middle school and high school, but once I lost weight my asthma actually improved incredibly and I was able to cut myself off of my medications…When I brought this up to the doctor, she said that it was because there was about fifteen pounds less of me, my heart and lungs did not have to work as hard to get blood to my body.
i dont think so , the more weight i lost, the better my asthma got, maybe the workouts you are doing are hard on your asthma… i get really short of breath and usually have to use my inhaler when i work out but now that all the weight is off, its helped it
I would imagine you’re just not over the infection, or that the infection left residual damage. However, it may depend on the reason for the weight loss. If there were dietary changes in the same period that triggered the weight loss, there are also food triggers for Asthma. WebMD has an article about it.
