First and foremost, follow your doctors prescribed treatment regimen. Asthma attacks can be fatal! Then, research herbal treatments. Turmeric, that orange yellow spice used in Indian foods, is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties on the bronchi. Buy honey produced locally. Many believe this will help reduce reaction to allergens, a common trigger for asthma attacks. Increase your fitness. Yoga is a good exercise that also teaches breathing techniques, some specifically for lung issues. Make sure you consult your doctor and let any fitness instructors or yogi know about your condition before participating in exercise.
I know, I think my asthma had caught up with me also, Its weired, I have not had any trouble sense I was 16 years old and I am almost 30 now. You will need to take those meds. I know it ***** but its your health ya know? take care.
