    My daughter had asthma and ran cross country races in high school. She sounded like a government mule in labor while she was running, but run she did! No problems and the doctor encouraged her to do it, but she kept her inhaler close by, just in case.

    It will depend on your son’s condition being under control, and his general health. Your family doctor will need to do a physical on him anyway, so just ask him what he thinks.

    Yes. But it does depend on how bad his asthma is. I have asthma too. I would try to stay small then increase as his asthma gets better. Hopefully this helped! And good luck!

    Let your son exercise heavily, its exelent for asthma patients, exercise increase circulation, carry oxigen to all body cells, get rid of toxins out the body, exercise is not a medicine for lung problems but it help a lot.
