Sounds like sleep apnea, which is very serious. Can cause brain damage and constant fatigue. You should try melatonin which is a safe chemical your body makes to help you sleep, can get in in any grocery store, and not habit forming. Also, tilt your bed at the head, propping up with pillows doesn’t help. This opens the airway if you’re propped up. If this still doesn’t help, there’s a CRP machine I believe that prevents you from stopping breathing. I am fairly sure I had it myself and these few steps have helped me.
