Asthma is an allergy caused by the foods we eat, our environment, the things we do and the way we live. This is quite a mouthful I know but, that’s the gist of it.
There are no “foods to help asthma” only foods that cause it. I know of no home treatments for asthma, only abstinence of certain foods and everyday items.

Once you found out what your allergic to, stay away from that item. Most are allergic to “Dairy” products, some to “Wheat’s and flours” in breads, some to the ingredients in these products. The list is unending and long. What you need is a allergy test and see what’s bothering you.

Have you ever been tested for allergies? The majority of the time, allergic asthma is related to environmental allergies (animals, dust mites, grass,…). Rarely (1-2% of the time) is asthma related to foods.

So, the first step is to identify what your triggers are. Once you know what they are, you can avoid them much more easily. I thus recommend you see a board certified allergist for an evaluation. Medical insurance will pay for most, if not all, of the visit.
