The government’s criteria for a drug being legal is that it must not be harmful, and it must have medicinal value. That alone is justification for cigarettes (and alcohol for that matter) to be illegal.
Also, tobacco causes more harm, both physically and financially to our society than all illegal drugs combined, no lie. Please look it up.
Well, dammit I smoke – and we smokers have rights too!!
Maybe in that case we should ban all kids under 12 being in restaurants when I am trying to enjoy my meal. How wants to hear some damn kid screaming coz his pants are loaded?
How far do you want to take this whole thing anyway.
I DO SMOKE.I HAVE BEEN SMOKING FOR 40 YEARS NOW.YOUR RIGHT IN SOME THINGS.I NEVER HEARD OF GOING BANKRUPTCY FOR SMOKING.DON’T YOU WORRY ABOUT THE TAXES ON CIGARETTES.LETS US WORRY ABOUT THAT.IF THEY STOP SELLING CIGARETTES THEYLL SELL THEM ON THE STREET LIKE THEY DO WITH DRUGS.YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT BANKRUPTCY AND PEOPLE RUNNING THE GOVERMENTS MONEY,HOW ABOUT THE PEOPLE ADDICTED TO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL THERE RUNNING ON GOVERMENTS MONEY .IM NOT OUT THERE ON THE STREET SELLING DRUGS.IM A GOOD PERSON.IM A LAW ABIDING CITIZEN.IF THATS ALL I DO IN LIFE,THEN SO BE IT…WHAT ABOUT OUR RIGHTS…DONT WE HAVE ANY?????IF A MURDER OR A ****** OR A ROBBER HAS A RIGHT WHY THEN DONT WE AS A SMOKER.
