ITSJUSTME asked:

I am only 27 and having the symptoms of a heart attack??? For over a year now every now and then I get this tight feeling in my chest and sometimes a pain in my left shoulder. I feel nautious and have very shallow breathing. The main symptom is the uncomfortable tightness of my chest. I have used my inhaler on several occasions thinking this is my asthma coming back and it does nothing to help the discomfort. Everytime it happens it lasts for a longer period of time. I am able to be active when it happens but it seems to **** all of my energy out of me. I am on several different medications which I have been taking for over 3 years. At 1st I thought this was an allergic reaction but when it happened yesterday I had just gotten off work, ate nothing, drank water and was relaxing and watching a movie. I looked it up on the internet and basically my symptoms are those of a heart attack. Also been experiencing “restless leg synd.” in arms and legs, mostly in arms???? Help!!!!!

Danielle Connors

I am finding that I get attacks when I am around strong fumes and sometimes it seems I get an attack randomly. I am having to use my inhaler WAY more than I used to, but it always does seem to help my symptoms. They generally go away. I have an appt. with my doctor in early July.
joe friday’s grrl asked:

I’m 47, and no one in my family’s ever been affected by respiratory illness, so it’s something I’ve never thought about. A little over two months ago, I began having some symptoms that at the time I thought were related to a new medication. I was getting very winded with very little exertion, and I began to notice a strange sound almost like snoring, but more raspy when I would get tired. Also, when lying down, my breathing would sound weird at times. Then, I got a cough, not frequent, but bad enough for people to comment on it. Now, I feel at times like I can’t breathe deeply. I’m really tired. My son was sick last months with chest pain, an uncontrollable cough, and what they determined in the ER to be a viral bronchitis when it seemed to be getting no better after two weeks. I’m now 99%sure that we have toxic mold in our home, which I’m tending to ASAP, and very worried about the effect it’s had on my family. I want to get tested for asthma, but at this moment I don’t feel very bad.

Adam Mabry

JG asked:

ok, so i’m a 20 year old male in college. First time i ever burned i was 15, but I didn’t really start getting deep until late 15, around 16. from then I was just around alot of friends who burned or girlfriends who did, running around a couple blunts a day. I smoke 95% blunts cuz thats what I grew up on with occasional bong rips, which pretty much kicked my tolerance into hyper drive compared to the average smoker. I took a year long break senior year and got back into it 4:20 college and I been smoking somewhat hard since then, 2-3 blunts a day but 4-5 on strong days.

now, lately I’ve had much more trouble getting HIGH high. I’m not stupid, I know I’ll never get my “virgin high” back, but now it just seems like weed jus acts like strong tobacco. Now it just feels like I get “faded” instead of an actual high. I still get a buzz, accompanied by the standard short term memory confusion(while high) and overall unawareness and being in a state of “chill-mode”, which is generally the result of being “high”, but now I just get the symptoms without a fatty buzz.

I been smoking tobacco on and off (70% black n milds, 30% regular cigarrettes) for around the past year to 2 years.

On top of that, when I do smoke(usually when I smoke alot or hotbox it), I get some asthma and a mild feeling of a collapsed lung, slightly noticeable in a mirror by chest-shape reduction which generally goes away while I sleep(but is slightly freaky none-the-less). I don’t know if this is pretty standard for weed smoking, but I been noticing it more lately because of the lack of high that the weed gives me. I know for a fact it’s not bammer shit, my friend who ive been smoking with for days still gets somewhat high and i’ve tried multiple types of trees.

When the asthma gets bad

I’m currently in the process of trying to quit weed and cigarrettes due to it, but I find myself doing one of them in order to cut back on the other >.<

Does anyone else have problems getting high or have feelings of asthma after prolonged usage? and would taking a break from weed and/or cigarettes help? I love smoking weed but I should have listened to my friend and not done it alot cuz it kills the fun/buzz out of it.

Last night I did 4 solo bong bowls and a blunt with some friends and all I got was a little buzz and trouble breathing. When the asthma gets really bad, I start getting crazy shivers like it's dumbass cold in the room or something, I assume this is due to oxygen deprivation or something.

Eunice Stegall

Now I jsut had a test done revealing that I have the pathogen still, or had it recently (Positive Igm, negative IgG). The question is, do I still have it? or are my levels just raised b/c of a recent infection? I am still having trouble breathing and need a ton of asthma meds. My doctor is treating me with antibiotics, but says it might just be a little lung scarring after the pneumonia. Is there anyway to be SURE of a mycoplasma infection?
Jamie A asked:

I’ve had this problem ever since I was a child. I can’t be in closets too long without starting to wheeze. I also find it difficult when I clean because it happens. This problem worsens during the winter. I can’t exercise outside or even be exposed to the winter air without wheezing. I’ve had attacks that would last 2 days where I couldn’t breathe. I would literally gasp for air those couple of days just to get me by. My last major attack was about five years ago, but I still sometimes feel like I’ll get another one. Now, when I start feeling those symptoms (especially during the winter), I try to control it by stopping what I’m doing or going indoors. Could this be asthma?

Susan Shears

tegenallekansen asked:

My roommate has bronchial asthma. She hasn’t been using her preventative inhalers for about 4 months but has been sick starting last week. The inhalers are to prevent an asthma attack. Went to the hospital and all they did was refill her script for the inhalers which are out. The cough is so bad that when she coughs, the coughing fit last so long and is so repetitive that she can’t breath for the time being. EVERY cough, she has to spit up mucus. Been drinking lots of water and she’s been taking mucinex every 4 hours as directed. And we have vapor plug-ins.Also, last year around the same time she got pneumonia, was hospitalized, and in intensive care. She does smoke. We live in Missouri.

Symptoms: Harsh/Severe cough
Excessive mucus (oral and nasal)
Chest Pain
Severe Shortness of breath
Nausea (sometimes)
Weakness

Aaron Winn
