i’ve got asthma and i’m on the track team?

    i have asthma too, but only use it how much your doctor says too.

    im pretty sure it cant be THAT bad if you over dose. cuz i have before too for a while and im perfectly fine.
    i honestly wouldnt be on the track team if i were you.. unless your sprinting.

    my brother has asthma and it is bad to use your inhaler too much and the best thing to do is run ALOT! and you can out grow your asthma

    holy guacamole yeah thats bad for your heart but dont take it so much before cuz it doesnt really help also talk to your doctor about like asthma preventers like asmanex or profair

    12 TIMES A DAY?!

    NO! that is SO wrong! and trust me i ran intensive track in high school and i have very bad asthma, and i NEVER used my inhaler 12x a day! i only took my inhaler IF i felt i was wheezing, or may have any chance of having an attack during my workout!

    this is wat u should do:
    take the inhaler 15 mins before your workout and thats IT!
    12x a day is not only overdosing, but you are making your
    body rely on the steroids, so if you happen to miss some
    doses, your automatically triggering an attack! SLOWLY
    lower your doses!

    the most i ever used my inhaler might be about 12-14x a week!
    and thats only if im wheezy, sometimes i would go weeks w.o using
    it, and eventually i was able to run a 400 in 59 secs w.o any steroids!

    i disagree with .trixi. i know what you mean, sometimes you need it a lot during the day but i think 12x is a little to much. try and only take it when you need it, not on habit.
